Camryn's new adventures

I have no photos from this special weekend but wanted to share how sweet Camryn is. We didn't do anything out of the ordinary but she did have her first play date with her friend, Avery. Camryn played so nice with her, sharing, talking, reading books, and playing at the park. I was so proud of my little girl. Once when Avery was talking very loudly and kinda screaming, Camryn turned to her and said, "Relax". Made Nichole and I laugh pretty hard, knowing she got that term from mama. Later in the weekend Camryn, Gramma, and I were at the park again. Camryn went down the biggest slides which just last week she wouldn't attemp and really has her coordination for climbing down to a T. At the top of one of the slides was a grate that Camryn kept play cutting, using her fingers as scissors. I was curious as to what she was doing until she said, "Be happy sea turtles", while looking over her shoulder. It was a scene she was mimicking from Diego where he freed the sea turtles from the fisherman's net. What an imagination... Finally, that same night at the park, she was climbing up the slide and her feet slipped out from under her. She thought it was super funny so she exaggerated it and kept sliding her feet and looked at me and said, "Ayudame", which means "help me" in Spanish. She just blows me away with her funny personality and sweet demeanor. I will promise to carry my camera from now on.

Camryn loves the park!

Camryn loves going to the park (what kid doesn't?) Dada snapped some great photos while they were playing! She is getting so big.

Halloween 2008

Camryn really enjoyed Halloween this year. We went to our office party at Moss Adams and followed it by a night of trick-or-treating with our cousins, Uncle Brett and the Lutkus's. Camryn was dressed as the cutest cowgirl I ever did see. Mama was dressed as Troy Polamalu. Both of our favorite people! :)

New to blogging....Here goes!

My friends from work (namely Andrew and Leanne) have inspired me to blog since I don't ever seem to find time while at home to update the baby albums I have for Camryn. We are far past our first word, our first sentence, singing the ABC's, and counting to 10. We are currently peeing in the toilet and asking for a diaper when it's time to go poopie. Almost there but not quite. Not as heartwarming as the first time she said mama but just as important.

My little angel has decided that her new favorite thing to sleep with (besides me, two blankies, two pillows, and "the soft blanky") is the house flashlight. Not one of the little kiddie ones that are the size of an adult hand but the large and in charge, super durable flashlight. Camryn tends to have mini tantrums during the night and last night she almost knocked me unconscious in her fit. I don't know what led to the blow because I was sound asleep but I do know that I woke up to the heaviest blunt object smashing my skull at around 3 am and again at 4:15 to find Camryn in delirium and falling back to sleep as if nothing happened. Needless to say Camryn will no longer be adding the flashlight to her repertoire of sleeping essentials anymore.
